Why should I choose Camp Sionito?

Camp Sionito is a conference and retreat center conveniently located to San Antonio and Austin as
well as surrounding communities, lodging is priced for a wide range of budgets with facilities
constructed with convenience and accessibility in mind. The campgrounds is suitable for a wide
range of activities including large and small group meetings, athletic and sporting events as well as
personal and corporate spiritual renewal.

How much will an event cost me?

Please refer to the Fee Schedule.

What if I have a meeting or housing need not specifically addressed on the Fee Schedule?

A one-page form cannot contain all of the housing options that are possible at Camp Sionito. If you
have a question regarding accommodations just call or email John Werchan, the Campground
Manager.

What is there to do at Camp Sionito?

In addition to planned conference and retreat activities, guests at Camp Sionito play volleyball,
basketball, horseshoes, field sports and board games. Relaxation and exploration through hiking,
tubing or canoeing the Medina River, campfires and other meditation sites is encouraged.

What is there to do in the surrounding area?

The Texas Hill Country boasts a wide range of services, recreation sites and eating establishments.

I am a diabetic and eat a special diet, will I be able to participate?

For events at which Camp Sionito provides meals, special dietary needs can be accommodated with
advance notice. Please note all special dietary needs on your registration form.

When is check in and check out?

Check in and check out times are determined in advance by the event coordinator and the
Campground Manager.

Can I drink alcohol or smoke on the campgrounds?

Camp Sionito promotes wholeness of body, mind and spirit. As a result, the consumption of alcohol
or other intoxicating substances is strictly prohibited. Likewise, smoking is discouraged although
permitted in the specially designated Smoking Area.

May I ride my motorcycle or dirt bike on the campgrounds?

Camp Sionito is not designed for off-road motorcycle or dirt bike activities.

May I bring my pet with me?

Except as hereinafter provided, animals and pets of Camp Sionito guests, including but not limited
to dogs, cats and horses are strictly prohibited on the Sionito campgrounds. Small pets owned by
Sionito RV Park guests are permitted, but when outside of an RV must be on a leash and confined
to the RV Park and designated Pet Zone. Pets and other animals are strictly prohibited from Camp
Sionito buildings. Owners are responsible for sanitary disposal of pet traces.

May I have a campfire?

If the County is not under a burn ban, you may have campfires in the designated campfire area.

May I shoot off fireworks?

Fireworks are not permitted on the campgrounds.

Does Camp Sionito have a television available with DVD and VCR?

Yes, but television reception is limited to local channels.
